Recently, I've been working on creating cover art for Idlehands new EP "COMMON SOUL" soon to be released! So far so good, I'm to close in on the front cover then it's on to the inside and back panel. Also, I will be creating more marketing items for them so stay tuned! Trust me.
Check their site and a vid from their recent Portland recording trip!

Join us and celebrate the 3rd Annual La Hermandad: Workers United in Struggle. This event celebrates the unity and solidarity between Chicanos and Filipinos rooted in the Delano Grape Strike. We aim this year to honor our unrecognized workers as we struggle with them. There will be art focusing on the labor movement from the 60s as well as peformances and speaking on the future and present of our working class struggles.
I will have brand new pieces displayed at this event. Please come & show some support you might learn a thing or two!! Here's a little preview of just one of the few watercolor sketches that will be on display.

Here are some photos from my work's Blick Madness event 2012. A good friend of mine provided the sounds & another provided the arts. Also, the store itself provided a silk screen demo for the customers as well. Take a look!

Lately, I started cycling again. Finally, dusted off the bike and got back to it. Anyhow, in San Diego we have a few pre-made bike routes along our bays. In this case, the Bayshore Bikeway Route runs along Downtown San Diego, Barrio Logan, National City, Chula Vista, Imperial Beach, and Coronado. Every other weekend or so I gather up a few friends and take them on the route. Each rider receives a spoke card with all the check points mapped out. As they pass an existing check point they get a hole punch on their card. Eventually, they'll fill up the entire card!

Currently, I have a painting displayed at Thumbprint Gallery La Jolla. The show is titled, "Works of Wisdom". Each piece by each artist involved is designed & based off of a quote, a poem, a saying, or any words of wisdom that has inspired us or that of one we have lived by.

IN THE STUDIO 01/02/2012

Today, my god daughter and her best friend came over to the studio to paint a little bit. Sometimes, I get lost watching young minds paint. It's actually really inspiring to know that they are just painting just to paint. Most artists would understand what I mean by saying that. Anyhow, here are a few shots I took while they're were in action!
