AWKP: With all the books and fashion magazines that you may flip through for inspiration, where would you say you have pulled great inspiration from a source least expected?JJ: A vacation book about the Philippines that my dad had back in his military days. Inside, it had these simple line drawing illustrations with a few splashes of color on them. To me, the simplicity of it made sense. It was almost as if someone was making that book as they were passing through on vacation. This is where I got the epiphany to create tons of watercolor sketches. To simply get the message through with simple line drawings and a few splashes of color....
